Eddie Weatherington
National Director of Compliance


Mr. Weatherington is the former Assistant Director of Enforcement Services and Investigations for the National Collegiate Athletic Association. He has Investigated major infraction cases involving violations of NCAA regulations, the compilation and evaluation of evidence of infractions, the drafting of necessary documents and the oral presentation of information and evidence before the NCAA Committee on Infractions. Eddie is also a member of the Coaches Association Recruiting Taskforce.  Mr. Weatherington's primary focus is to make sure you the student athlete never jeopardizes your eligibility status.

NCAA & High School Guidance & Compliance

Please note even though you pass the NCAA clearinghouse, you will still need to pass the guidelines of colleges or universities academic standards to be eligible to attend that institution.  Below are the courses required for their respected Divisions.

DIVISION I
16 Core Courses:
 

    4 years of English
    3 years of mathematics (Algebra I or higher)

    2 years of natural/physical science (1 year of lab if offered by high school).
    1 year of additional English, mathematics or natural/physical science.
    2 years of social science.
    4 years of additional courses (from any area above, foreign language or

        non-doctrinal religion/philosophy).
 

DIVISION II
14 Core Courses:


    3 years of English.
    2 years of mathematics (Algebra I or higher).
    2 years of natural/physical science (1 year of lab if offered by high school).
    2 years of additional English, mathematics or natural/physical science.
    2 years of social science.
    3 years of additional courses (from any area above, foreign language or

        non-doctrinal religion/philosophy).


PLEASE NOTE: Beginning August 1, 2013, students planning to attend an NCAA Division II institution will be required to complete 16 core courses.
